All readers, adults and children alike, enjoy books that they can connect with and stories that speak to their lives. Titles and characters in Book Show selections are chosen to reach out to every child, and in particular to Hispanic and African American families. In this way, by appealing to a wide variety of readers, The Book Show™ has the potential to increase family and child literacy in the United States.
The Book Show™ plans to connect to a growing community of Hispanic readers with a series of bilingual titles, produced by licensing popular and classic titles from publishers. By enjoying easy-to-choose, age appropriate selections, parents, grandparents, and children can read together in Spanish and English, increasing conversation, idea sharing, and literacy in the entire family.
